Australia’s Billy Stanlake on Sunday suffered one of the most comical run-outs in the history of the game.
During a Big Bash League (BBL|08) clash between Adelaide Strikers and Sydney Thunder, Stanlake, who is plying his trade for the Strikers lost his control while attempting a run and ended up suffering a hilarious run-out.
The incident happened in the 17th over of the Strikers’ innings. Stanlake hit a full-length delivery from Daniel Sams to the leg side before running for a single; he had almost made it before losing control after putting his bat on the ground.
Eventually, he lost his bat mid-way and got run-out in a comical fashion.
