The world no. 1 ODI bowler, Jasprit Bumrah injured his left shoulder while playing his first game of this IPL tournament on Sunday. The Mumbai Indians team was playing against Delhi Capitals at their home ground, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

On the final ball of Delhi Capitals inning, Bumrah dived over to his left in an effort to field the ball. During his dive, he injured his left shoulder and was seen in extreme pain. The Mumbai Indians physio helped Bumrah off the field.

It was a troublesome sight for not only Mumbai Indians fans but also Indian cricket fans as the ICC World Cup is just around the corner.

During Mumbai Indians innings, the franchise provided an update that Bumrah is fine, but he will not be available for batting.
