IPL 2019: Royal Challengers Bangalore Team – Players, Support Staff, Schedule And Stats

Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise has some big names such as Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Mr. 360 AB de Villiers. In the past, they qualified for the tournament final thrice (2009, 2011 and 2016), but couldn’t win the title.

In the auction, they purchased Windies batsman Shimron Hetmyer for INR 4.2 crore and Shivam Dube INR 5 crore. Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis also joins the squad.

With Heinrich Klaasen and Parthiv Patel, the team has two wicket-keeping options. In terms of batting, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers will be the key.

RCB’s bowling unit has never been their strength. Umesh Yadav with Tim Southee and Mohammed Siraj will handle the pace attack. Yuzvendra Chahal, Pawan Negi, and Washington Sundar will be the spin options for the team.
