IPL 2019: Stuart Broad and Yuvraj Singh engage in a hilarious banter on Instagram

India veteran Yuvraj Singh continues to allure limelight because of his comments on photo-sharing platform Instagram. Recently, Yuvraj was involved in an Instagram banter with England star pacer and his friend Stuart Broad.

During the inaugural ICC T20 World Cup in South Africa back in 2007, Yuvraj grabbed the headlines by smashing six sixes in an over off Broad, when India and England encountered each other at Kingsmead, Durban.

Since then, we have witnessed several ‘friendly banters’ involving the famous duo. Yuvraj, who has so far played Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Kings XI Punjab, Pune Warriors India, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils and Sunrisers Hyderabad, will be donning the blue jersey this season after being bought by the Mumbai Indians (MI) at his base price of INR 1 crore during the auction held in Jaipur last year.

On March 5, MI posted a picture of their new boy Yuvraj on Instagram ahead of the IPL 2019. The three-time champions asked the fans to comment on the photo by asking “The first thing that comes to your mind when you see @yuvisofficial is ______”

But the fans were up for a treat when Broad decided to comment on the picture. The England pacer recalled the 2007 incident and commented “6 😂” which clearly displays the friendly connection between the two players.

Yuvraj, who likes to have a bit of fun both on and off the field, shrugged off Broad’s comment and heaped praise at the Englishman. “Stuart Broad lol that’s the reason why you have 400 plus test wickets mate! Legend,” Yuvraj’s response read.
