WATCH: Mumbai Indians star Yuvraj Singh emulates MS Dhoni’s helicopter shot in the nets

With the 12th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) slated to begin in less than two weeks now, players who aren’t playing any cricket matches have joined the practice camps of their respective IPL franchises.

Having last played for India during India’s tour of West Indies in 2017, Yuvraj Singh has joined the Mumbai Indians’ camp and was seen trying out a few things in the nets.

Notably, the MI star tried emulating the famous helicopter shot of Chennai Super Kings skipper, MS Dhoni. He tried to whack a left-arm orthodox spinner over the mid-wicket region.

Now, ahead of the IPL 2019, he seems to be working hard to make a comeback into the Indian team. He is looking at the T20 tournament as the opportunity for him to open the doors to the national team. The 37-year-old all-rounder has been working hard on his fitness as well.
