On August 20, Hasan Ali got hitched to Indian girl Shamia Arzoo at Dubai’s Atlantis Palm Hotel. Soon after that, his Pakistan teammate Imad Wasim tied the knot with British-Pakistani Sannia Ashfaq on Saturday, August 24, at the Faisal Mosque in Islamabad. The nikkah (marriage ceremony) was a private affair.
The wedding reception took place on Monday, August 26. Former cricketer and current Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and other influential people were invited.
Ex-Pakistan bowling coach Azhar Mahmood congratulated the couple and wished them a happy married life.

The Pakistan all-rounder impressed with his performance in the 2019 World Cup. He won the Player of the Match award against Afghanistan for his unbeaten 49 and two wickets. He also played for Nottinghamshire in the ongoing Vitality T20 Blast in England.
