The West Indies spinner, Rahkeem Cornwall made his International debut against India on Friday at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica. 6 ft 5 inch tall, Cornwall received his Test cap from former West Indies bowler Corey Collymore.
At the end of the first day’s play, Cornwall addressed the media. “It was a good feeling for making my debut; I think the ball came off really nice as the start. Just a normal day of cricket, I think we have to work hard and put the balls into the right areas,” told Cornwall.
Rahkeem dismissed the Indian star Test batsman Cheteshwar Pujara picking up his maiden Test wicket.

“It was a good feeling to get my first Test wicket, it was nothing really new to me, but it was a good feeling,” he added.
Earlier, Windies skipper Jason Holder won the toss and invited India to bat first. At stumps on Day 1, India was 264/5 with Hanuma Vihari (42*) and wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant (27*) at the crease.
