World’s best all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan is all set to join the Barbados Tridents camp for the seventh edition of the Caribbean Premier League. The Bangladesh Cricket Board provided the ‘No Objection Certificate‘ to Shakib on Tuesday.
With just two wins so far in this season, Barbados Tridents are at the 4th spot of the Points Table. Shakib could be a great addition to Barbados Tridents’ squad as they get closer to the qualifier stages.

Shakib was captaining the Bangladesh team for the tri-series up until Tuesday. The final against Afghanistan got washed out, and both sides ended up sharing the trophy.
“We have given him (Shakib Al Hasan) the NOC to take part in the CPL. We are expecting him to be available before the preparation for the series against India though we are yet to finalize the date of his return,” told BCB cricket operation chairman, Akram Khan.
Barbados Tridents are up against Trinbago Knight Riders for their next game on Sep 26 at Kensington Oval. The defending champions TKR have recently slipped to the second spot in the Points Table with four wins out of 6 matches.
