Mobile Premier League (MPL), India’s largest mobile gaming platform, has appointed popular actress Tamannaah Bhatia as their brand ambassador.
Recently, MPL also renewed its association with Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli for another year.
Tamannaah, along with Kohli, will now represent and endorse the brand across all channels.
Speaking about the association, the actress said, “I am excited about being associated with MPL. In a short span, MPL has grown to become India’s largest mobile gaming platform that rewards skill and has impacted people across the country. I look forward to working with MPL.”
While, VP, Growth and Marketing, MPL, Abhishek Madhavan said, “We are pleased to have a celebrity of Tamannaah’s stature team up with MPL. Her work speaks for itself, and we are excited about the prospect of this association. Tamannaah being the face of MPL across mediums, is bound to resonate with our users and audience, especially in South India.”
In 2012, the rumors of Tamannaah dating Virat were the talk of the town as they worked together for a TV commercial. However, years after their dating rumors, the actress finally opened up about her alleged ex Virat in March last year.
In an interview with Famously Filmfare, Tamannaah talked about working with Virat. The actress reportedly said that they “spoke four just words” during the ad shoot. The South Indian diva also mentioned that she has never met or spoken to Virat after the campaign.
