David Warner reveals his favourite moment from IPL

Australia star batsman David Warner, who plays for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), recently took to Instagram to reveal his favourite moment from IPL.

Warner has shared a throwback picture of SRH lifting the IPL trophy and called the team his “Indian Family”.

“My favourite IPL moment would have to be this for sure. My Indian family @sunrisershyd,” the southpaw captioned the picture.

The Hyderabad-based franchise had won the IPL trophy in 2016 after beating Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the summit clash.

On Tuesday (March 31), Warner had shaved his head in support of all the medical staff and other emergency personnel who are working hard day and night in the battle against coronavirus.

The deadly virus has brought the sporting world to a grinding halt. India’s three-match ODI series against South Africa was called off before the IPL 2020 was suspended till April 15 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On March 24, Tokyo Olympics were postponed by a year as a precautionary measure against the ongoing health crisis.

The coronavirus pandemic has infected more than 1,016,300 people worldwide and the virus has taken over 53,200 lives across the world.
