Suresh Raina names the actor whom he would prefer in his biopic

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star batsman Suresh Raina much like many other Indian cricketers was all set to feature in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), but the cash-rich tournament got postponed for an indefinite period in mid-April amid ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

With fans unable to watch their favourite player on the field, Raina held a Q&A session on social media to interact with them.

On Saturday, the southpaw announced that he will be answering the questions from his fans and will be giving away signed merchandise to some of his admirers. “Its been a while, let’s do #askraina Q&A session today -13th June at 6pm IST. 5 best questions will get a signed merchandise from me, my team from ArtKonnect will get in touch. Please use the hashtag,’ Raina wrote on his Twitter.

The 33-year-old answered a plethora of questions and also spilt the beans on many personal choices.

During the Q&A session, a fan asked Raina about the actor whom he would prefer in his biopic. “If a movie is made on you which actor would you prefer? Or would you act urself?” asked a fan.

Raina responded by taking the name of Dulquer Salmaan and Shahid Kapoor. Both Dulquer and Shahid have been quite successful in their respective medium of films.

When asked about what new things he has been trying during the lockdown, Raina said that he is learning to cook different dishes.

Raina has captained India in 12 ODIs and 2 T20Is, and when BCCI asked him about his experience while leading the national side, the left-handed batsman said: “It’s been a great honour and proud moment.”

Raina is one of the best players to have ever don the Indian jersey and has represented the national side in all three formats of the game. The Muradnagar-born made his debut for India in 2005 and played a crucial part in the team’s 2011 World Cup triumph. He is also the first-ever Indian to score a century in T20 internationals.
