Indian Premier League (IPL) giants Mumbai Indians (MI) are renowned for promoting a family culture in their bulky unit, known as the MI Paltan. Netflix’s documentary ‘Cricket Fever’ displayed how the team remains attached like a family in both high’s and low’s.
Now, MI has released the first picture of Hardik Pandya’s newborn baby. The Indian international was captured holding the baby for the first time.
The MI social media handle decided to document and share the special moment of a father embracing his son, with the caption, “Daddy’s dearest! #OneFamily @hardikpandya7.”

Hardik has been an iconic player for MI in the last few seasons of the IPL. Even, brother Krunal Pandya was soon drafted into the MI squad, a season after Hardik made his IPL debut.
The Baroda cricketer has been all over the news after announcing his engagement with Serbian actress Natasa Stankovic.
Hardik went down on his knees to propose Natasa on a yacht, back on New Year’s eve. Amidst lockdown, the two chanted the sacred vows in a hush-hush affair.
It was only a few weeks back. Natasa broke the news of her expecting their first child. And on July 30, Hardik shared a sneak peek of the baby boy, who was holding daddy’s fingers with his tiny hands.

On the work front, Hardik is scheduled to resume his stint with MI in the thirteenth edition of the IPL, starting September 19. MI will need the services of their marquee all-rounder in their bid for the defence of IPL title.
