Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer Umran Malik, who has delivered the fastest ball in IPL 2022 so far, shattered the wickets of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Shreyas Iyer in Match 25 of IPL 2022.
As soon as Malik cleaned up Iyer, SRH’s fast bowling coach Dale Steyn jumped off his seat and celebrated the wicket by giving a high 5 to spin bowling coach Muttiah Muralitharan.
The incident happened on the final ball of the 10th over. Iyer moved across to make room for playing a shot through the offside. Malik tracked Iyer’s movement and bowled a fiery yorker that went on to hit the stumps like a tracer bullet.
