New Zealand‘s skipper Kane Williamson and his wife Sarah Raheem became parents for the second time, as they got blessed with a baby boy. Williamson, who captains Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), shared an adorable photo of his newborn baby on his official Instagram handle on Sunday.
Williamson missed the recently-concluded final league match of the ongoing IPL 2022 for SRH against Punjab Kings (PBKS) as he had taken a leave to be with his wife Sarah, who is a nurse by profession, during the birth of their second child.
The Blackcaps batter posted a picture of his wife Sarah, holding their daughter, Maggie, along with the newborn and captioned it as: “Welcome to the whanau, little man!”
Many members of the cricket fraternity stepped forward and showered their blessing on Williamson’s family through their comments on the post.
“Congratulations Kane Mama,” commented Williamson’s former SRH teammate and Afghanistan star spinner Rashid Khan.
New Zealand spinner Ajaz Patel, who scripted history with the all 10 first-innings wickets against India in Mumbai last year, congratulated the adorable couple. He wrote: “Mashallah, bro! May the whole family be showered with loads more happiness and blessings!”
Former India cricketer Suresh Raina also wished Williamson on the special occasion. He wrote: “congratulations, brother ❤️🙌”
