Bollywood and Tollywood celebrities took to their Twitter handles and hailed former India captain Virat Kohli for his brilliant knock against Pakistan in Melbourne on Sunday.

The star batter hit an unbeaten 82 off 53 deliveries in what was a nail-biting encounter, offering glimpses of a vintage Kohli, who is known for his exceptional chasing abilities.

At one stage, India seemed to lose the game by a big margin as the team’s total was 45-4 after 10 overs. But Kohli played one of his best knock in T20 internationals. Even in the last two overs, with 28 runs needed off 8 balls, it seemed the Men in Blue were on the verge of losing but Kohli’s relentless batting took India home.

Fans across the country erupted in joy as India defeated arch-rivals Pakistan. Social media went abuzz with the hashtag #KingKohli #GOAT. From Sushmita Sen to Urvashi Rautela and Shah Rukh Khan to NTR, everyone hailed ‘King Kohli’ for his masterclass at the MCG.
