Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is an ardent cricket lover and never misses a single opportunity to play the sport in her time. She recently appeared on Star Sport’s show Cricket Live, which was telecasted ahead of the India versus South Africa match at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.

Interestingly, the model-turned-actress was accompanied by her Phone Bhoot co-stars Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi in the studio. They all had a gala time with former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh.

Katrina also flaunted her batting skills during her short stay in the studio. A video of the same is going viral on social media, and fans can’t stop gushing over her love for cricket.

In the short clip, Katrina can be seen holding a bat and getting ready to face Bhajji’s bowling. She missed the first few deliveries, but on the fifth and sixth ball, the Bollywood diva hit a four and a six on the leg side. After seeing her batting, fans expressed their love even more in the comments section.

One fan wrote, “Katrina bats like Suryakumar Yadav.” Another fan commented, “Queen Katrina Kaif hits a boundary.”

Rohit Sharma and Co. lost the game against South Africa

South Africa exposed India’s inadequacies against extreme pace and bounce to win a low-scoring thriller by five wickets in Perth on Sunday.

While Suryakumar Yadav (68 off 40) played one of the best knocks of his short international career, India’s defence of a below-par total (133-9) was always a challenge. Arshdeep Singh, the young left-arm pacer, did bowl another dream first spell, but David Miller (59 not out off 46) and Aiden Markram (52 off 41 balls) took the game away from India and ensured that the Proteas chased the set target comfortably in 19.4 overs.

For his superb spell of 4/29, Lungi Ngidi was named the ‘Player of the Match’.
