The Indian Premier League (IPL) is just a few days away from starting, and cricket fans worldwide are eagerly waiting for the latest season of this much-celebrated tournament. The defending champions, Gujarat Titans (GT), will take on MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 31, marking the beginning of the tournament. All IPL teams are currently preparing themselves to win the coveted IPL trophy.
Recently, the CSK skipper was seen practicing for the upcoming IPL season. Dhoni, who is known for his cool and composed demeanour, was at his brutal best during the nets session. The 41-year-old player was seen attempting to hit sixes during the batting session at M.A. Chidambaram stadium in Chennai, displaying his aggressive side.
As a picture of Dhoni’s biceps from the practice session has gone viral on social media, Twitterati expressed their happiness and were left amazed with the veteran wicketkeeper-batter gearing up for the IPL 2023. They also lauded him for his fitness.

IPL 2023 is going to be the first tournament since 2019 to be held all across India. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the tournament had been played fully or partially abroad since 2020. The previous edition of the IPL was held in India in 2022, but it was limited to just four venues in Mumbai and Pune. With the upcoming tournament set to be held all over India, fans are excited to see their favourite teams playing in different parts of the country.
