Gujarat Titans (GT) will lock horns with Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 35th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday (April 25). Notably, GT emerged victorious in their last match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), whereas MI lost to Punjab Kings (PBKS).

Hardik Pandya was the standout performer for the Gujarat-based team in their win over LSG, as he scored a resilient 66 off 50 balls in the contest. Meanwhile, Wriddhiman Saha also contributed valuable 47 runs to the team’s total. Among bowlers, Mohit Sharma and Noor Ahmad picked two wickets each for GT. At the same time, despite Cameron Green’s storming 67 off 43 deliveries and Suryakumar Yadav’s quickfire 57-run knock, MI suffered a defeat against PBKS in their last encounter. Green also bagged two scalps for the Mumbai-based team in the first innings.

MI are currently on the seventh spot of the IPL 2023 points table and will look to make a comeback when they meet Gujarat on Tuesday. On the other hand, GT are on fourth place and will aim to move up in the points tally.

The venue offers a batter-friendly track and tends to help the spinners more as compared to fast bowlers. However, the pacers can also extract assistance from the surface if they bowl in the right areas.
