Mumbai Indians (MI) will square off against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 22nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium on Sunday (April 16). While MI registered a win over Delhi Capitals (DC) in their previous game, KKR faced a defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their last encounter.

Piyush Chawla and Jason Behrendorff also played a significant role in MI’s victory over Delhi by picking up three wickets each in the first innings. On the other hand, Nitish Rana (75) and Rinku Singh (58) scored quickfire half-centuries for KKR in their match against SRH. At the same time, Andre Russell contributed with the ball and scalped three wickets for his team.

Mumbai will look to move up in the points table and carry the momentum they got in their last game when they face KKR on April 16. Meanwhile, Kolkata would be eying a comeback with a win against Mumbai.
