Rajasthan Royals (RR) will lock horns with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 26th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday (April 19). While RR registered a win over Gujarat Titans (GT) in their previous match, LSG were defeated by Punjab Kings (PBKS) by two wickets.

Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer played a significant role in RR’s victory against GT as they scored a match-winning 60 and 56 runs in the run chase. Meanwhile, Sandeep Sharma picked two wickets for the Rajasthan-based team in their first innings. At the same time, despite KL Rahul’s 74 off 56 deliveries, LSG suffered a defeat against PBKS in the 21st match of the IPL 2023. Mark Wood, Ravi Bishnoi and Yudhvir Singh Charak all bagged two scalps each for Lucknow in the contest but failed to defend the total set by their team.

RR currently sits at the top of the points table and will look to maintain their position by defeating LSG on Wednesday. On the other hand, the Lucknow-based team are on the second spot of the points tally and will aim to dethrone Rajasthan.
