Meanwhile, the International Cricket Council (ICC) annouced the crucial detail regarding the commencement of ticket sales for this marquee event. Starting from August 25, cricket enthusiasts around the world will have the chance to secure their seats for the eagerly awaited matches.

Coinciding with the announcement of ticket sales, the ICC also unveiled the revised schedule for the 50-over World Cup , further building the excitement and setting the stage for an unforgettable cricketing spectacle.

To ensure that fans don’t miss out on their chance to be part of this historic tournament, the ICC has provided an opportunity for them to register their interest ahead of the ticket sales. Starting from August 15, fans can visit the official ICC Cricket World Cup website (https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register) to express their interest. By doing so, they will receive timely updates on ticket availability and be among the first to secure their spots at the World Cup matches.

To handle the anticipated surge in ticket demand and to ensure that a maximum number of fans have an opportunity to witness the top-tier players in action, the ticket sales will be rolled out in several stages on the specified dates.

Tickets will go on sale on the following dates:

  • August 25 – Non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches
  • August 30 – India matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum
  • August 31 – India matches at Chennai, Delhi and Pune
  • September 1 – India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow and Mumbai
  • September 2 – India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata
  • September 3 – India matches at Ahmedabad
  • September 15 – Semi Finals and Final

ICC ODI World Cup 2023 tickets update

In his statement, ICC Head of Events Chris Tetley announced that the eagerly awaited tickets for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 are set to be available for purchase later this month. Tetley extended a warm invitation to the vast community of cricket enthusiasts, urging them to mark their calendars and register their interest starting next week. Moreover, he highlighted that the schedule adjustment has been made with the aim of enhancing the experience for both players and fans, ensuring the best possible enjoyment of this pinnacle one-day cricket event.

“Tickets for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will go on sale this month and we call on all of cricket’s hundreds of millions of fans to register your interest from next week to ensure you are one of the first to receive ticket news and to be a part of the biggest Cricket World Cup.The amendment to the schedule will ensure that players and fans will have the best possible experience at the pinnacle event of the one-day game,” Tetley was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo.
