With Kishan’s single against the part-time spinner Charith Asalanka, the summit clash concluded in just two hours.

Mohammed Siraj recorded his best ODI figures

Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj emerged as the star of the match, achieving his career-best ODI figures of 6-21. He was ably supported by all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who contributed significantly with three wickets to dismiss the Sri Lankan side.

The game showcased India’s dominance in the Asia Cup and solidified their reputation as a cricketing powerhouse.
