In the 3rd T20I of the New Zealand Tour of England 2023, New Zealand elected to bat after winning the toss at Edgbaston. Their decision proved to be a wise one as they posted a formidable total of 202/5 in their 20 overs.

New Zealand Innings:

Finn Allen led the charge for New Zealand with a stunning knock of 83 runs off 53 balls, including 4 fours and 6 sixes. Glenn Phillips also made a significant contribution, smashing 69 runs off 34 deliveries with 5 fours and 5 sixes. These performances propelled New Zealand to a commanding total.

England Innings:

In response, England faced a tough challenge from the New Zealand bowlers. England was bowled out for 128 in 18.3 overs, falling short by a substantial margin.

Jos Buttler provided some resistance with a quickfire 40 runs off 21 balls, which included 3 fours and 3 sixes. Moeen Ali chipped in with 26 runs off 16 balls. However, England’s batting lineup struggled against the disciplined New Zealand bowling attack.
