Dhoni, known for his cricketing prowess and leadership, was seen enjoying the men’s singles quarterfinal clash between defending champion Carlos Alacaraz and Olympic champion Alexander Zverev at the iconic Flushing Meadows venue.

From Tennis to Golf: A memorable outing

Following the enthralling tennis showdown, Dhoni made headlines once again as he engaged in a game of golf with none other than former United States President Donald Trump.

Pictures and videos capturing this unlikely duo’s golf outing quickly went viral on various social media platforms, captivating fans and followers worldwide.

The future of MS Dhoni

Notably, Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket on August 15, 2020, leaving a lasting legacy as one of India’s most celebrated cricket captains. However, he has continued to be an active participant in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he represents and captains the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

In the IPL  2023 final against the Gujarat Titans (GT), Dhoni may not have contributed with the bat, but his leadership led CSK to their record-breaking fifth IPL title, drawing level with the Mumbai Indians’ (MI) championship record.

After the remarkable victory, Dhoni hinted that he is not yet ready to bid farewell to the IPL. During the post-match presentation, he stated, “Tough thing for me is to work hard for another nine months and come back and play at least one more season of the IPL. I have 6-7 months to decide, and I think it’s something that will be more like a gift from my side. It’s not easy for me, but that’s a gift. The way they have shown love and affection, I think that’s something I need to do for them.”
