Following his performance, Arijit made his way back to the stands to passionately support Team India. However, when Mohammed Siraj breached Babar’s defenses, the tide turned in India’s favour. Babar’s dismissal brought immense joy to Indian fans, as he had appeared to be a significant threat, set for a substantial score against India. The crowd in Ahmedabad erupted with excitement, and Arijit celebrated in a unique style by waving an Indian t-shirt, reminiscent of Ganguly’s famous t-shirt-waving celebration after India’s Natwest Trophy victory over England in 2002.
