As the nation illuminated with Diwali festivities, the cricket stars too embraced the cultural traditions with their families. The team, decked in traditional attire, partook in rituals, exchanged Diwali greetings, and enjoyed the festive spirit at their team hotel in Bengaluru.
Captain Rohit Sharma posed with his wife Ritika Sajdeh and sent best wishes for Diwali to their fans worldwide.
“शुभ दीपावली,” Rohit captioned his social media post.
Batting maestro Virat Kohli was also clicked with his wife Anushka Sharma and other members of the Indian team during the celebrations as they posed together wearing classy festival attire.
