The Sunday night at the ODI World Cup 2023 in Eden Gardens witnessed a historic moment as former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli smashed his 49th ODI century, equalling the legendary Sachin Tendulkar’s record. While this feat in itself was monumental, Kohli also entertained fans with his charismatic dancing moves on the field during the game against South Africa.

In a spectacular display of batting prowess, Kohli notched up his 49th ODI century during India’s clash with the Proteas at the ODI World Cup 2023. This remarkable achievement saw Kohli draw level with the iconic Tendulkar, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time.

Recreates Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic pose

Besides his remarkable batting performance, Kohli added a touch of entertainment to the game by showcasing his dancing skills. At the 5th over mark, the DJ at Eden Gardens played Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan‘s popular song ‘Chaleya’ from the blockbuster film “Jawan.”

Kohli, a known SRK fan, couldn’t resist the groove and began dancing to the catchy tune. He even recreated the famous SRK pose by extending his arms in a perfect rendition.

Grooving to Anushka Sharma’s tune

Kohli, in yet another delightful moment, danced to a song from the 2010 movie ‘Band Baaja Baaraat,’ in which his wife, actor Anushka Sharma, starred. His energetic moves on the field added to the jubilant atmosphere as India bowled out South Africa for just 83 runs and secured a massive 243-run victory.
