In a recent episode of the popular talk show Koffee With Karan Season 8, Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan put an end to the swirling dating rumours involving Team India opener Shubman Gill. The Indian cricket sensation, currently part of the ODI World Cup 2023, had been linked to Sara Ali Khan after the two were seen together on a dinner date.

During the show, Sara was asked about the dating speculations, to which she wittily responded, “You have got the wrong Sara, guys. Sara ka sara duniya galat Sara ke peeche pada hai (The whole world is after the wrong Sara),” leaving the host, Karan Johar, and her co-partner Ananya Pandey in stitches.

Sara’s playful remark was a clear reference to Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of the legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Sara Tendulkar was even spotted cheering for Gill during India’s ODI World Cup 2023 match against Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

When paparazzi clicked Sara Ali Khan with Shubman Gill
Last year, several entertainment portals shared reports of break-up between Shubman Gill and Sara Tendulkar, with Gill later seen having a dinner with Sara Ali Khan at an eatery in Mumbai.
One of Gill’s close friend back then stated that their interaction was merely a friendly exchange and should not be misconstrued as anything more than that. Meanwhile, the recent revelation by Sara Ali Khan has provided clarity on the matter, putting an end to her dating rumours with Gill.
