In a thrilling turn of events, India levelled the series against South Africa with a commanding seven-wicket triumph in the second Test at Newlands. After registering their first win at Newlands, Team India skipper Rohit heaped praises on young pacer Mohammed Siraj, who wrecked havoc during South Africa’s first innings, bundling out them for a paltry total of 55 in the first session of play on day one.

“Very very special. Something that we don’t get to see quite often. We spoke about keeping things very simple because the pitch will do the rest for us. And that’s exactly what happened. Lot of credit to Siraj, Bumrah, Mukesh [Kumar] and Prasidh [Krishna]”, Rohit said in the post-match presentation.
