Chasing 147 for victory, Multan Sultans displayed composure and determination in their batting approach. Yasir Khan‘s fluent 54 off 37 balls set the tone for the chase, while Usman Khan‘s brisk 36 provided crucial momentum. Contributions from Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed ensured a comfortable victory for Multan Sultans, who reached the target with nine balls to spare, finishing at 147/3 in 18.3 overs.

While Multan Sultans’ batting lineup showcased resilience, it was their bowlers who laid the foundation for victory. Jordan’s magical yorker, along with Usama’s economical spell, earned them crucial breakthroughs and restricted Peshawar Zalmi’s scoring opportunities. With this win, the Multan-based team have confirmed their spot in the final of PSL 2024. Although Peshawar lost the contest, they still have a chance to bounce back in the second qualifier and sail into the final.
