In a stellar display of dominance, Delhi Capitals (DC) secured a direct berth in the final of Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 with an impressive tally of six victories out of eight league games. Their latest triumph came in a decisive encounter against Gujarat Giants (GT), where Meg Lanning‘s side emerged victorious by seven wickets at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday (March 13).

With this win, Delhi sealed their place as the table-toppers, earning the coveted direct entry into the WPL 2024 final. Meanwhile, the remaining playoff spots were clinched by Mumbai Indians (MI), positioned second, and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), occupying the third spot. These two teams are set to battle it out in the Eliminator on March 15 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, with the winner advancing to face Delhi in the final showdown on March 17.
