SRH Crumbles Under Pressure

In response, SRH innings never really took off as they were bundled out for 134 in 18.5 overs. Aiden Markram tried to stabilize the innings with a composed 32 off 26 balls, but the regular loss of wickets kept the pressure mounting. Heinrich Klaasen and Abdul Samad made small contributions of 20 and 19 runs, respectively, but CSK’s bowlers were simply too good on the day.

Tushar Deshpande was particularly lethal, claiming 4 wickets for 27 runs in his 3 overs. Mustafizur Rahman and Matheesha Pathirana also chipped in with crucial wickets, ensuring that the Sunrisers’ lineup was decimated without much resistance.
