Jaiswal now found himself in an exclusive club of Indian batting legends who have scored 600 or more runs in a Test series. The distinguished list includes Sunil Gavaskar, Virat Kohli, Rahul Dravid and Dilip Sardesai. Notably, Gavaskar, Kohli and Dravid achieved this feat twice in their illustrious careers, while Sardesai accomplished it during the West Indies series in 1970–71.

Dravid was the first to breach the 600-run mark against England in the 2002 series, and Kohli replicated the feat in the home series in 2016/17.
