ICC World Cup 2019: Here is the ‘Prize Money’ won by each team

Now the tournament is complete, let’s have a look at the prize money. At the start of the tournament, ICC declared a total prize money pool of US $10 million.

The prize money was based on the performance of individual teams as per the following rules:

2. New Zealand:

League Stages:- Won: 5, Tied: 1
Prize Money in League Stages: 5 * $40,000 + $20,000 = $220,000
Runner-up Prize Money: $2,000,000
Total Prize Money: $2,220,000

3. India:

League Stages:- Won: 7, Tied: 1
Prize Money in League Stages: 7 * $40,000 + $20,000 = $300,000
Losing semi-finalists Prize Money: $800,000
Total Prize Money: $1,100,000
