Kevin Pietersen posts a cheeky comment on Virat Kohli’s transformation picture

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is not only one of the greatest batsmen but also a great human being apart from all his heroics on the field. Many current and former cricketers respect him for that, and a testimony for the same was once again visible on Thursday. The former England batsman Kevin Pietersen admires him a lot, and he posted a cheeky comment on Kohli’s recent picture on Instagram, which has left the fans in splits.

On Thursday, Virat took to Instagram to post a transformational picture of himself. On the left is his view from more than a decade ago where he could be seen sporting a stubble on his chubby face. On the right is his picture from the present day, where he could be seen sporting a thick beard. He captioned the photo: “#TransformationThursday and my reaction says it all.”

Kohli’s next assignment will be to lead the Men in Blue in a three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, followed by a three-match ODI series against Australia. But ahead of that, he was promoting a shaving product through the picture where he shared two of his different looks.

Virat even challenged Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja to take part in the promotional campaign.

Meanwhile, Pietersen reacted to Kohli’s transformation picture and wrote, “I remember that guy on the left.”

A young Kohli shared the dressing room with Pietersen at Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) during the former England skipper’s stint in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2009 and 2010.
