While responding to Dhawan, Sood said that just like how India feels home when the left-handed batsman is at the crease, he would also remain at the crease until every migrant reaches home.
“Thank u so much, my brother. India knows when @SDhawan25 is at the crease “WE ARE HOME”. I promise I will stay at this crease till the end and make sure that every migrant will say “WE ARE HOME, ” tweeted Sonu.

Sonu began the initiative on March 12. He, along with food and beverage entrepreneur Neeti Goel, arranged ten buses for migrant labours who returned to their villages. Both took permission from Maharashtra as well as the Karnataka government.
Since then, Sonu and Neeti are continuously helping the labours. People are reaching out to Sonu on Twitter with their details, and the Bollywood actor is assisting them by arranging buses. That’s the reason, Sonu’s efforts have been praised by many politicians, actors, celebrities from the sporting fraternity etc.
