In the latest development, Ireland speedster Josh Little has been roped in by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as a net bowler for the upcoming 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The official Twitter handle of Cricket Ireland confirmed the news, hoping that it would be a great experience for the left-arm medium-pacer. Notably, the upcoming season of the cash-rich league will start on March 26, with CSK playing the opening game of the tournament against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Josh has so far taken 54 wickets in 54 T20 matches, with 4/23 being his best. When it comes to international cricket, the Dublin-born has 30 wickets to his name in ODIs and 31 in T20Is from 19 and 34 matches, respectively.

Recently, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had announced the complete fixtures of IPL 2022. As many as 70 league matches and 4 Playoff games will be played in the duration of 65 days.
Further, there will be 12 doubleheaders this year, with the first-day game starting on March 27 between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at Brabourne Stadium. In the evening on the same day, the DY Patil Stadium will host the clash between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
