Gloucestershire beat Northamptonshire by 23 runs
Despite Shaw’s unfortunate exit, the match witnessed some impressive performances from both teams. Gloucestershire, after being asked to bat first, posted a competitive total of 278 runs before being bowled out in 48.4 overs.
The highlight of their innings was Graeme van Buuren‘s outstanding century, as he hammered 108 runs off just 102 balls, including 12 fours and 2 sixes. Anwar Ali also played a crucial role, contributing with a valuable 61 off 56 deliveries, adding depth to the Gloucestershire innings.
In response, Northamptonshire put up a spirited chase but fell short of the target, getting bundled out for 255 runs.
