As we all know, cricket in India is more than just a sport but a religion that unites people from all walks of life. With the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 just around the corner, cricket fever is sweeping across the nation and even celebrities and actors can’t resist for the showpiece event to unfold. Recently, Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal and actress Manushi Chhillar added to the cricket fervour by participating in a delightful ‘this or that’ rapid-fire cricket interview.

Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chhillar’s special appearance on a cricket show

Vicky and Manushi appeared on a show at Star Sports to promote their upcoming film ‘The Great Indian Family.’ The show featured a series of intriguing choices, and the duo had to pick between two iconic cricket moments or players.

Sachin Tendulkar’s six to Shoaib Akhtar or MS Dhoni’s World Cup winning six?

The first challenging choice presented to Vicky and Manushi was between Sachin Tendulkar‘s iconic six against Shoaib Akhtar or MS Dhoni‘s World Cup-winning six in 2011. After a bit of contemplation, both Vicky and Manushi opted for the euphoric 2011 World Cup-winning moment.

Yuvraj’s Six Sixes or Kumble’s Ten Wickets in an Innings?

The second choice was equally daunting. They had to decide between Yuvraj Singh‘s incredible feat of hitting six consecutive sixes in an over and Anil Kumble‘s historic ten-wicket haul in a single innings. This time, they had different opinions. Manushi chose to go with Kumble’s ten-wicket haul, while Vicky was captivated by Yuvraj’s unmatched display of power-hitting.

Virat Kohli’s cover drive or Sachin Tendulkar’s straight drive?

Next up was a question that struck the heart of cricket aesthetics as it asked to pick between Virat Kohli‘s cover drive or Sachin’s straight drive. In this case, the duo unanimously opted for Sachin’s trademark straight drive.

MS Dhoni’s unbeaten 91 in World Cup or Kapil Dev’s unbeaten 175?

The penultimate choice was between two iconic innings, i.e. Dhoni’s unbeaten 91 in the World Cup or legendary Kapil Dev‘s unbeaten 175. Once again, Manushi and Vicky were in sync, both choosing Kapil’s sensational record-breaking knock. Notably, Kapil’s innings in the 1983 World Cup was a game-changer and a source of inspiration for generations of cricketers.

India’s 2007 or 2011 World Cup triumph?

The final question was a real stumper. Vicky and Manushi were asked to choose between India’s 2007 and 2011 World Cup triumphs. This was a moment of dilemma for the Bollywood duo, as both victories hold a special place in Indian cricket history. In the end, they decided not to choose between any one but both historic wins.
