The finale of the biggest cricket festival, Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2019, will be held on Oct 12 at Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad. The top two teams of the tournament, Guyana Amazon Warriors and Barbados Tridents will fight for the championship title.

On Oct 6, Guyana Amazon Warriors won the Qualifier 1, defeating Barbados Tridents by 30 runs. Shoaib Malik led Guyana Amazon Warriors has yet to lose a match in the tournament.

They won all ten league games, putting them on top of the points table with 20 points. Given the team’s performance so far in the league, they are the favorites.

On the other hand, Barbados Tridents defeated the defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders in the thrilling encounter in Qualifier 2.
