The reports suggested that Virat charged over INR 11.4 crores for a single paid promotion on Instagram and went on to create a huge buzz on social media. It even made it to the news headlines and soon became a point of discussion among sports enthusiasts.
The denial and clarification from Virat:
Although Virat has a net worth of INR 1050 crores as per the StockGro and is the most followed Asian on Instagram, he rubbished the claim of earning 11 crores from endorsement on social media. The former India skipper took to his official Twitter handle to deny the claims.
