The Abu Dhabi T20 Counties Super Cup 2024 got underway on Friday (March 15), with Somerset locking horns with Yorkshire in the opening clash. This six-team tournament will see five English counties – Essex, Nottinghamshire, Somerset, Warwickshire and Yorkshire – battle it out alongside Team Abu Dhabi.

Featuring a total of nine matches, the tournament format ensures that each team gets three games of competitive action. The top two teams from the group stage will progress to the final on Sunday, March 17, while the remaining teams will vie for third and fifth place in separate playoffs.

All matches are scheduled at the same venue i.e., the Tolerance Oval in Abu Dhabi. Fans can witness international stars like Dean Elgar, Tom Banton and Josh Tongue lighting up the competition with their skills.
