India leg-spinner Rahul Chahar tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Ishani Johar at a private ceremony in Goa on Wednesday (March 9).

Rahul took to social media to share a few pictures with his wife. “Our Happily ever after!!,” the new Punjab Kings (PBKS) recruit wrote on Instagram.

The wedding ceremony was attended by only a handful of guests, including his brother and celebrated cricketer Deepak Chahar.

Shivam Mavi, Rahul’s close friend from the U-19 days, also graced the occasion.

On the professional front, Rahul has so far played 6 T20 International (T20I) matches for his national team, picking up seven wickets. He featured in his only One-Day International (ODI) match against Sri Lanka in 2021, where he bagged three wickets.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Chahar has taken 43 wickets in 42 matches. His best performance came last year when he picked 13 wickets in 11 matches at an average of 24.46. At the 2022 IPL auction, PBKS bought him for INR 5.25 crore. From 2017 to 2021, he was part of the Mumbai Indians (MI) squad.
